  'FISHING BOAT'

This model was the first built by Robert. It is entirely constructed using traditional wood working techniques. The hull was built using the plank on frame principal.

The superstructure is made from mahogany and brass is used for the port holes and other small fittings.

'FRANS W'

A Dutch Coaster, the model is scratch built from plans available from Marine Modelling International. The hull is constructed using the plank on frame principal.

The original vessel was built in Holland during 1935, named 'TUKO'. Later the ship was sold to Westers and named 'Frans W'. Westers own the vessel for just one year and then sold it on, were it was renamed to 'TRUUS'. After nine years the ship was again sold and given the new name of 'EEMSHORM' in 1963. The coaster was scrapped in 1972.

Tonnage = 237t

This model is semi-scratch built on a manufactured fibre glass hull. The rest of the model is constructed from plywood, using the plans supplied.

The original vessel was built by Hall & Russel Co. in 1960.
