Stationed on a rotating basis in Fiji,
New Zealand and Australia, Pacific Guardian is a purpose-built cable
ship equipped to deploy a remotely operated vehicle (ROV). The
ship photographed here in Auckland, July 2001, provides maintenance and
repair services for the PacRim and ANZCAN networks in the Pacific Ocean.
